Narin and Suda Dahlgren started cooking Thai food out of their home kitchen in 1998. Narin grew up in Bangkok’s Chinatown, learning recipes from his grandmother who ran a street stall for 40 years. When the family moved to Virginia, they brought every recipe, every technique, and an unreasonable number of mortars and pestles.
We grind our curry pastes fresh every morning. The pad thai sauce is Narin’s grandmother’s exact recipe. We source Thai basil and lemongrass locally when we can, and fly in what we can’t compromise on. No MSG, no shortcuts, no apologies for the spice level.

Weekends get busy fast—especially Friday and Saturday dinner. Book ahead and skip the wait. Walk-ins welcome, but we can’t promise a table after 6:30 on weekends.
